Five Leather Jackets for Every Budget

Today I have a rather fun post to share with y'all. I don't know about you, but I have come to really love leather jackets during the autumn/winter season. They are perfect to throw over a tee shirt and skirt, jeans and a tee shirt, or even a super girly dress. At this point I can't afford a real leather jacket [unless I can find one in a thrift store], so I'm going to be sharing both faux and real leather jackets with y'all -- something for every budget.

What I Wore | Autumn Days Are Coming

Ah! I come to discover that I adore autumn fashion, beauty trends, the weather, and just everything that surrounds the autumn season. Even though it was in the 80s today, and was on the rainy/stormy side today I was feeling autumn like inside, so I pulled out a summery/autumn inspired outfit to wear today. You may ask, why did I title this post "Autumn Days Are Coming" if it is in the 80s? Well, it is supposed to get down into the mid-60s starting tomorrow, hence the title.

Saturday Musings

Hello lovelies! How has your weekend been going? I've been working on various things, all of which I'm going to be sharing with y'all today.

• I've been working on ripping out and moving a zipper on a bridesmaid dress for a friend. It is nerve wracking taking a zipper out, and cutting away some of the fabric [otherwise the seams would be too thick] to move the zipper over an inch. I'm also having to move the dress label and sash.

I've been really into skater style dresses and skirts recently, just most of them are wayy too short for my taste, this one looks just about perfect for my height.

What I Wore | Work Outfit for Ulta

Hello lovlies! Yesterday I had my first full shift at Ulta, and I worked on stocking the shelves the entire time -- which was rather fun, since I love organizing things. I woke up at 5:30am to get ready for work, since I had to do my hair & makeup, and make a coffee before heading out. For my first shift I worked from 7:00am - 11:00am, and the time seemed to fly by, since it is a very fast paced work environment -- which I really enjoyed. After working at Ulta I came home for a quick lunch, before heading out the door again for my second job at my Dad's office to work in the afternoon. To say the least, I was wiped out yesterday evening. Especially since I typically don't get up most days until sometime between 8:00am - 9:30am.

What I Wore | Navy + Pink for Church

Hello lovelies! I'm going to be sharing what I wore to Church this past Sunday, since I didn't have time on either Sunday or Monday. My Sunday was spent going to Church in the morning, attending my brother's second baseball game in the afternoon/evening, watching some Food Network, and showing the film Thor to my sister's & brother for the first time. To say the least, my Sunday was packed.

Whilst on Monday, I went with some of my sisters and Mum to Simply Chic [our favorite local consignment/thrift store] & Trader Joe's in the morning, cleaned out candles with Gaby [tutorial can be found here], and played Scrabble with my family in the late afternoon/evening before getting ready for bed [me & Gaby teamed up and won the game].
