   On October 31st I wore my Tartan kilted skirt for Reformation Day.

To work last week I wore my new OASAP lace top, jean skirt, and bubble necklace.

On Wednesday me, Gaby, and Abby watched Babes on Broadway {1941} with Mickey Rooney & Judy Garland.

I just realized as I was editing & writing this post that my outfit for today supports our local football team, the Indianapolis Colts. From the colors of my outfit, down to the ChuckStrong bracelet. I didn't intend to do that as I found the inspiration for this outfit on Pinterest. Anyhow, today we went to a book sale and I found a bunch of great stuff! I'll eventually do either a picture post, or video haul of everything I found at the sale, but here are a few sneak peeks to what I bought: That Printer of Udell's by Harold Bell Wright {1903}, The Turn of the Tide by: Eleanor H. Porter {1908}, and Hellcats of the Navy {1957} with Ronald Reagan & Nancy Davis. 

I better get going. We are going to be having people over soon for the Multiply gathering web stream hosted by Francis Chan & David Platt tonight. 

Who Inspires Me (Fashion Wise) - Marlo Thomas

Well, it is high time for another of my Who Inspires Me (Fashion Wise) posts. Last one was in June, before that it was in October of last year. I really need to remember to do this series more often, along with movie reviews. *smile*

Today's post is on Marlo Thomas during her That Girl! years. Well, I guess you could say that, this post is kinda a Ann Marie slash Marlo Thomas fashion inspired post. *grin*

I think Marlo looks simply adorable in the pink top{?} and floppy hat that she is wearing in the picture on the left. Too cute!

You know there is one thing that makes me laugh about the show, That Girl!. All the designer stuff that Ann Marie wears in the show who is on a struggling actress salary.

Ah! I love this outfit that she wore in the episode, Anatomy of a Blunder in series 1. Simply perfect for a picnic! *grin*

If you follow me on Pinterest, or Polyvore this outfit might look familiar to you. That's because I created the set below last night as an inspiration board for today's outfit {I would have worn a cameo necklace, but I couldn't find mine}. You see, sometimes I like to layout, or create outfits in advance for the days that I'm going to be out and about {or even for the days I'm not going to be}. Like today we cooked & served at a Senior's Luncheon that our church does once a month from March/April through November.

You could easily recreate this look for yourself with a jean skirt, boots, tights, button-down blouse, and something pearl. An if you are going to be going anywhere, throw on a peacoat or trench coat. 

Also, sorry the post have been few between {at least for me}. But the end of October and most of November is always crazy for us so my blog & email always take the back burner then. I'm sure y'all understand. *smile*

I was really into layers today for my Church outfit. The polka-dot top I bought yesterday at Kohl's on clearance {along with a navy gingham blouse}, so I really wanted to wear it today. Since it is freezing in Indiana I pulled out my favorite scarf from London to help keep me warm {it also matched my outfit the best}. I haven't done a LBB post, or video yet, but the Steve Madden purse is from my October box that I received last week. I love this bag! It is small, classic, and is perfect for more formal events, church, and for running errands around town. You just have to make sure & not bring a lot of stuff as it is small {at least for me}.

I've fallen in love with the BBC show, Robin Hood all over again this past week. In fact, I'm watching series 3 for the first time this week.

Richard Armitage, Lucy Griffiths, and Jonas Armstrong present the award for the most popular Drama TV Show at the The National Television Awards 2006. {Wait to you see who won. BTW, this a British award show.}
