How y'all doing today? I had a great day catching up on emails & replying; editing & uploading a video; pinning on Pinterest {when it would work for me}; listen to my mom read a-loud a book published by Lamplighter; watched A Cowboy from Brooklyn {1938}; and cooked dinner with my sister, Hanne-col.

I was really in the mood to wear a vintage dress today. To remedy my mood I wore my polka-dot skirt & lace blouse. For a pop of fun & color I wore a hot pink tank underneath - instead of my usual beige tee. It keeps me from becoming boring & same-old, same-old. You know?

Oh, my Birchbox arrived yesterday - but I wasn't too thrilled with my box, so I won't do a post. In fact, I *might* cancel my subscription as I found another beauty box I enjoy better then BB.

As you can see, I'm wearing my jean skirt - again. I adore this skirt. Even if it wasn't sent to me to review I would buy this skirt & wear it everyday. It is comfy; goes with just about everything in my closet; and works for church, work, and just everyday wear.

I'm also wearing my favorite earrings from LBB. When they first arrived I didn't think I would wear them that much - now I can't wear them enough. Same thing with my TOMS.


This morning before work I refashioned a long-sleeved '80s blouse into a sleeveless one. It is pictured above, along with a polka-dot skirt I had recently won in a giveaway for More Modern Modesty. I can't wait to wear them together next week, perhaps on Sunday with my new BCBGeneration clutch.

15 for 15 Remix // Day 10 {+ LBB June Bag Review}

I can't believe our last day will be this Friday. This event has been going so fast, but I'm thankful that I cut down the days from 30 to 15. I've been missing my vintage dresses, maxi skirts, and other tops. Oh, yes, and my heels! *smile*

I suppose I should mention about yesterday and what I wore. It was Gaby's High-School graduation, so I needed something slightly dressy, yet comfy because we got home at 2:30AM from the game and the Graduation was at 2PM, but we need to arrive earlier. Like I said, it was a long day, but lots of fun! I wore my hi-low maxi skirt, cream v-neck tee, burgundy cami, sandals, dangle earrings, owl necklace, and I carried my birkin-inspired bag.

Yesterday my June LBB arrived in the mail. Yay! In my box was two bags & a necklace.

On the left is the Nila Anthony messenger bag {it has a black & white polka-dot lining!}. While the clutch on the right is from BCBGeneration {I adore their clutches, well, I like a lot of their stuff}. Then there is the 'ZAD peacock necklace on top of the clutch {I think it would look great with a simple white tee & black maxi skirt}. I'm very happy with this month's box, and I was thrilled that I was able to trade up my items for another bag. I did start out with six items in my bag, as I had returned three items last month, and I was able to keep trading my things for higher priced things until I traded for this bag. If you haven't purchased a bag yet, you should try it out - at least for one box. I simply love this company! Take this bag for example, I spent $55 after shipping for everything pictured above, but my bag/box was worth about $181 dollars.

Today we are taking a road trip to go watch our favorite baseball team play. Now, I did cheat and wear a t-shirt that wasn't apart of my 15 items. But I normally only wear this tee to baseball games, the playoffs, opening day, and sometimes on the weekends. *smile* Also, today my youngest sister, Abby {Abigail} joined me for my outfit pictures.

I wore my polka-dot skirt today, and look, I'm not wearing any TOMS. *grin* You know what? This is the first time I've worn this blazer with my polka-dot skirt. My brother & I rode our bikes {well, really our parents' bikes} down to that fun photo-shoot location. Guess what we saw on the way? A dead possum. Once we were on location we saw a bunch of turtles in the water. It was so much fun to see them in their natural habitat. Oh, by the way, I didn't wear my wedges when I rode my bike. I wore sandals. *smile*

I had a very full day today. We cleaned our house. Had some friends over who talked about India's fashion this afternoon, we also had the chance to try on some Indian sarees {that was lots of fun!}. We also had some real Indian chai tea. This evening Gaby, our brother Nathanael, and I rode our bikes down to a country road to take Gaby's Senior pictures. As I write & publish this post Hanne-col, Gaby, and I are watching Judy Garland & Robert Walker in The Clock {1945}.

Since we were having a full day today I wanted to keep my outfit casual & comfy. Which means I wore my TOMS, again. I really love these shoes. They are awesome! I bought them back in November with a TOMS gift card I had won in a giveaway, but I never got around to wearing them until this challenge. No clue why. Any how, I kept today's outfit fairly classic with a jean skirt & striped tee. Of course, the right stripe tee makes any outfit very classy & Audrey Hepburn-ish. *smile*
